If your business is looking to become more engaged or add to its toolkit, our Chamber Ambassador Program is a perfect solution.
Our Chamber Ambassador volunteers represent various businesses, organizations, and citizens within our community. They are an energetic and enthusiastic group of individuals who take time to network within the sphere of Sanford and Lee County’s businesses while nurturing and strengthening Chamber and community relationships.
Ambassadors raise awareness of the benefits of Chamber membership, attend Chamber events, and encourage overall community engagement.
As Ambassadors, they get an inside view of how the Chamber generates and supports building business relationships within our community.
The numerous opportunities offered by being a Chamber Ambassador also allows each individual to grow their own networking circles and strengthen business community bonds, all while developing a more robust personal and professional circle.
Chamber Ambassadors represent Chamber members. If you do not work for a Chamber member or have a personal Chamber membership, reach out to me so we can discuss the distinct options available to join.
If community leadership is more of your interest, Leadership Sanford is here for you. The ten-month program takes an in-depth look at a range of topics of community interest and increases your knowledge of our local government and public policy decision-making.
The topics covered are designed to provide both personal development and community enrichment.
Within the program, you will learn new ways of serving others, how to discuss complex issues, how others solve problems, and about how different organizations in Sanford, Lee County and the Town of Broadway meet the significant challenges of leading our community in today’s environment.
Both Chamber programs, Ambassadors and Leadership Sanford, will start accepting applications in July. Check out our website and social media pages for the announcements.
