A Call to Action

“Voice of our Community and Business” is more than just a phrase—it is a call to action. While many recognize SAGA’s Chamber of Commerce for its networking and promotional events that expand members’ connections and the Chamber’s reach within the community, fewer realize another powerful way we drive impact: our Public Policy Luncheons.

Held on the first Monday of each month, these luncheons provide a platform to discuss critical issues affecting our business community. As the Voice of Our Community, we all have a role—business owners, citizens, and local leaders alike who want to stay informed, engaged, and proactive in shaping our community’s future.

Public Policy Luncheons are open to everyone, not just Chamber members. Attendees hear directly from policymakers, industry experts, and local officials about upcoming legislation, economic trends, and community development plans.

Whether you are a business owner, nonprofit leader, or engaged citizen, connecting with local decision-makers, business professionals, and stakeholders can lead to partnerships, collaborations, and new opportunities. These gatherings foster networking, collaboration, and advocacy for policies that promote economic growth, workforce development, and infrastructure improvements.

Attending public policy luncheons helps our community members stay involved in these efforts, showing policymakers that we, the public, are engaged and invested in their decisions. When more voices join the conversation, the impact is greater.

When more people participate in our discussions about public policy, our community benefits from diverse perspectives and ideas. Attendees can help drive change by staying engaged and holding leaders accountable for the policies that affect our businesses, our schools, our public services, and our everyday life. You play an active role in shaping the policies that influence our local economy and quality of life. The more voices at the table, the stronger and more representative the outcomes will be.

A hallmark of our community success has been working together to create shared prosperity. Join us on the first Mondays of the month for Public Policy Luncheon.
