Sanford Area Growth Alliance announces Keynotes-  Speaker Line-Up for its Annual Meeting

The Sanford Area Growth Alliance (SAGA) has announced the full speaker line-up for its 2015 Focusing Forward Annual Meeting, on Sept 14, 2015 held at Carolina Trace Country Club.

The theme for the 2015 Annual Meeting is “Focusing Forward”, and will focus on the growth that is taking place in Sanford-Lee County. Leaders from community, state and district alike will be taking the stage presenting the State of: Education, Town of Broadway, City of Sanford, Lee County, SAGA, State of North Carolina, and North Carolina’s Second District.

“We are excited to learn more from community and business leaders about the momentum that is building,” said Joy Thrash, SAGA CEO. “The Annual Meeting will showcase the collaborative efforts of these partners within our community and how they are working to move Lee County forward.”

Featuring leaders in the progress of Sanford-Lee County, this years’ keynote line-up is set to reflect the forward momentum that is taking place, while giving unique insight into the synergy needed for growth in business and economic development. The official line-up is:  

  • Dr. Andy Bryan, Superintendent, Lee County Schools
  • Dr. Bud Marchant, President, Central Carolina Community College
  • Mayor Donald Andrews, Town of Broadway
  • Mayor Chet Mann, City of Sanford
  • Chairwoman Amy Dalrymple, Lee County
  • Joy Thrash, CEO, Sanford Area Growth Alliance
  • Representative Robert Reives II, N.C. House of Representatives
  • Congresswoman Renee Ellmers, N.C.’s Second District
