SAGA - Chamber announces new members to the Board of Directors

The Sanford Area Growth Alliance (SAGA) – Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the four new members to its 2016 SAGA – Chamber Board of Directors, terms beginning January 1st and serving a three-year term.

Newly elected 2016 officers are:

  • Danyl Butler (Central Carolina Hospital)
  • Dave Shabaz (Sanford Herald)
  • Curt Williams (Atlantic Hydraulics)
  • Jeanine Morton (Theraplay)

“Our board members bring expertise, passion and perspective that is significant to the success of the Chamber of Commerce,” said Meg Moss, Chamber of Commerce Executive Director. “The board brings together a wide range of community leaders that are committed to serving Lee County and its businesses.”

Woods Doster (Doster, Post, Silverman, Foushee, Post & Patton, P.A.), will serve as the 2016 Chamber Board Chairman, succeeding Chamber Chairman Brad Simpson (Simpson Construction). Doster and the 13 other Chamber Board Members will lead the Chamber initiatives for the upcoming 2016 year. Doug Gay (Yadkin Bank) has been elected to serve as the 2017 Chamber Board Chairman.

Other members of the 2016 board include: Charlie Welborn (DMJ & Co., PLLC), Darryl Davis (Davis Sales), David Caplan (Lee County Farm Bureau Insurance), Doug Gay (Yadkin Bank), Kelly Klug (Lighthouse Documentation & Training), Dr. Pamela Senegal (Central Carolina Community College), Pam Gordon (Gordon & Associates Real Estate), and Tom McSwain (Pinnacle Benefit Resources).
