SAGA – Chamber announces Duke Energy Citizenship and Service Award

The Sanford Area Growth Alliance (SAGA) is pleased to announce that Duke Energy will be presenting its Citizenship and Service award at the Chamber Annual Membership Banquet on February 16, 2016.

The Duke Energy Citizenship and Service award pays tribute to individuals who use their time, talent and compassion to positively affect the lives of others in their communities or in the workplace. Recipients of the award help foster a culture of citizenship and service that acts as a catalyst for others to become involved in civic and social activities.

The recipient will be announced at the Chamber Annual Membership Banquet by Indira Everett, District Manager, Government & Community Relations, Chatham, Durham, Lee and Orange Counties. This award will become an annual award, in continued partnership between the SAGA-Chamber and Duke Energy.

““We are thrilled that Duke Energy has chosen the Chamber Annual Membership Banquet as the venue to present this award,” said Meg Moss, SAGA-Chamber Executive Director. “The award recipient is an individual that has made significant contributions to the Lee County business community. “
