SAGA – Chamber announces BUILD Series dates and topics

Jan 21

The Sanford Area Growth Alliance (SAGA) is pleased to announce the introduction of the upcoming BUILD Series dates and topics. This series will be a bi-monthly series of small business roundtables.

“Before launching the BUILD Series, we conducted phone interviews with various Chamber members and asked them about their business challenges,” said Meg Moss, SAGA - Chamber Executive Director. “The Chamber is an advocate for small business success, and the purpose of this series is to allow members to receive valuable information from a subject matter expert, as well as learn from each other through a series of roundtable discussions.”

The BUILD Series is focused on the building blocks for small business success. Each event will have a different topic – based on input from businesses on what they feel would benefit their business best. The dates and topics are as follows:

  • February 16, 2016 – Finance: The Facts on Tax
  • April 19, 2016 – HR: Hire to NOT Fire
  • June 21, 2016 – Marketing: Create Crazed Fans
  • August 16, 2016 – Workplace Culture: Is Yours Toxic or Exhilarating?
  • October 18, 2016 – Business Management: How Will I Ever Get It All Done?
  • December 20, 2016 – Networking: Why Should I Know You?
