The Chamber of Commerce will be presenting the Life Achievement Award to Larry Stogner. After starting his career in 1976 with ABC11 Eyewitness News, Stogner has been inducted into the N.C. Journalism Hall of Fame and the N.C. Broadcasters Hall of Fame. Stogner is no stranger to our military guests, in 2002 he accompanied units of the 82nd Airborne Division to Afghanistan where he provided nightly news reports.

“This is one of our favorite events of the year and we’re honored to be hosting such amazing talent,” says Bob Joyce, Chamber President. “DMJ and the team at WWGP/WFJA have put in tremendous work to get these special guests to join us and we’re thankful for all their efforts. We know that the community will enjoy this highly anticipated event as much as we will.”
